New Movie Images From ‘Les Miserables’

Every time there is a movie adaption of a beloved story, I get nervous about the casting. This is the one time where I felt all the talent involved in a film was spot on.  I have no doubt this is the best cast to bring a beloved Broadway musical to life.

Here are some images from the much anticipated Les Miserables to tie us over until the film’s Christmas debut.

New comer Samantha Barks seems to hold her own against the very talented cast.  Perennial Broadway talent, Aaron Tveit (Broadway Catch Me if You Can) had a misstep when he squandered his talent appearing on Gossip Girls but I am glad we will get to hear his wonderful voice on the big screen.

I am already humming all the classic songs in my head.  It will be nice to finally hear these wonderful songs coming from the voices of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crow, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Barron Cohen and Anne Hathaway.

Les Miserables opens Christmas day.
