Images From the Munster’s Remake ‘Mockingbird Lane’

The long gestating NBC series Mockingbird Lane will now be aired as a Halloween special.  Bryan Fuller, creator of gone-too-soon ABC seriesPushing Daisies is the creative force behind the re-imagined Munster’s series.

The series stars Jerry O’Connell as Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as Lily Munster, Eddie Izzard as grandpa the vampire, Mason Cook is Eddie Munster and Charity Wakefield is Marilyn.

Bryan Fuller gave us Showtime’s Dead Like Me and ABC’s Pushing Daisies.  Both shows centered on death.  Pushing Daisies was a show that had a unique concept, witty dialogue, and was visually appealing.  It got lost during the writer’s strike and couldn’t find an audience.   I was looking forward to the return of Bryan Fuller but sadly this project didn’t work out.

New images for the series turned holiday special were available from TV Line. The Mockingbird Lane Halloween special will air October 26.
