Images From Episode 2 of the New Season of ‘Fringe’

The premiere episode ended with Walter being captured and psychically tortured by the Oberserver’s leader, Widmark.

Episode 2 is titled “In Absentia.”  After Walter’s mind is damaged by Windmark’s telepathic probe, the team must break in to Walter’s old lab in Harvard and find information to defeat the Observers.

The team searches the Harvard campus for a hidden tunnel to get into the lab.  Peter disguises himself as a Loyalist troop and breaks into the Harvard medical building with Etta.

Peter and Olivia are still trying to reconcile everything they went through when Etta was taken from them at age three.  Peter still feels guilt from deserting Olivia and not being there for their daughter. They are both amazed at how their daughter has turned into a soldier trying to save the world.

Watch Fringe season 5 Friday 8/7 central on Fox.
