Peter Hambleton is Gloin, son of Groin, brother of Oin and father of Gimli from Lord of the Rings.

Aidan Turner is Kili, brother of Fili who is rumored to catch the eye of an elf in the movie.

Ken Stott as Balin, brother of Dwalin.  His grave is found by Frodo Baggins and the Fellowship of the Ring as they travel through the Mines of Moria – “Here lies Balin, son of Fundin, Lord of Moria.”

Mark Hadlow is Dori, the brother of Ori and Nori.

Martin Freeman is Bilbo Baggins who joins Gandalf and the dwarves on an unexpected journey.

Stephen Hunter as Bombur, the clumsy dwarf that is full of girth.

Graham McTavish is Dwalin, brother of Balin and one very tough dwarf.

Dean O’Gorman is Fili, brother of Kili who is one of the younger and better looking dwarves.

Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, leader of the expedition who hopes to take his rightful place as King Under the Mountain.

Ian McKellen reprises his role as Gandalf the Grey and is responsible for enlisting another hobbit in an adventure of a lifetime.

William Kircher is Bifur, cousin of Bombur and Bifur who has an axe blade stuck in his head.

Jed Brophy is Nori, brother of Ori and Dori.

John Callen is Oin, brother of Gloin and son of Groin.

James Nesbitt as Bofur, Bombur’s brother and Bifur’s cousin.

Adam Brown is Ori, brother to Nori and Dori.
