Jamie Bell and Connie Nielsen Join Lars von Trier’s ‘Nymphomaniac’

Jamie Bell, the 26-year-old British star of Billy Elliot and voice of Tin Tin joins Danish actress, Connie Nielsen (Starz Boss) as new additions to Lars von Trier’s controversial pornographic drama, Nymphomaniac.

The film begins shooting in Germany and will be shot as a two-part feature.  Plans are to release the film in both a tamer and more explicit version.  The film stars Charlotte Gainsborg, who worked with Lars von Trier in Melancholia, as Joe, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who is found beaten in an ally by Seligman played by Stellan Skarsgard (Thor).   Joe recounts to Seligman the story of her erotic life as he tends to her.

The film also stars Shia LaBeouf who confirmed in an interview that the sex scenes in the film would be real.  Producers of the film revealed all “sex scenes will be performed with the help of body doubles and visual effects.”

William Dafoe and Nicole Kidman are rumored to be linked to the project.
