Joel Kinnamen is the New Face for H&M

Joel Kinnamen, the handsome Swedish-American actor is the new face for H&M’s fall ad campaign.  Joel Kinnamen starred as Detective Stephen Holder on the AMC’s series, The Killing and will appear as the lead in the remake of Robocop.

The Hollywood Reporter listed Joel Kinnamen as one of a few actors on the cusp of stardom.  The article compared Kinnamen’s career trajectory to Jennifer Lawrence’s career path that was filled with “savvy auteur cred and commercial appeal.”  Lawrence had critics raving about her Academy Award nominated performance in the indie film, Winter’s Bone.  The buzz gained by the small movie led to more high-profile supporting roles for the actress in X-Men: First Class and then the coveted lead in The Hunger Games series.

Joel Kinnamen worked with David Fincher in The Girl With the Dragon Tattooand then landed the lead in the much-hyped Robocop.  Only time will tell how far Joel Kinnamen will go.
