British Actor, Tom Hardy Invades Hollywood’s ‘It List’

The 33-year-old British actor, Tom Hardy processes such raw talent and versatility that he is often compared to a young Marlon Brando.  He’s already lived through a tough past; having dealt with expulsion from schools, drug and alcohol addiction in his teens, and occasional stints in jail.  He cleaned up after a harrowing incident left him vomiting up blood.   Now he channels his troubled youth into the edgy roles he’s come to be known for.

Hardy started out in the HBO mini-series, Band of Brothers and his versatility as an actor shows in his body of work.  He also starred in Black Hawk Down, Star Trek: Nemesis, Layer Cake, Marie Antoinette, Inception, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Warrior and This Means War.  He was truly menacing playing the villain Bane in the Dark Knight Rises.  He will next be seen in Lawless, a film set in Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia about bootlegging brothers threatened by the town authority who are out to get a cut of their profits.   He is currently filming Mad Max: Fury Road.
