The Ex-First Family

Political Animals Premieres, Sunday July 15 10/9c

USA Network is premiering their limited series event, Political Animals this Sunday.  The show stars Sigorney Weaver (Avatar, Aliens) as Elaine Barrish Hammond, former first lady and current Secretary of State (sound like anyone we would know) trying to keep her family together while dealing with crises of the State Department and fending off Susan Berg (Carla Gugino of Californication), a DC journalist out to get her.

The cast also includes:

Ellen Burstyn (Requiem for a Dream) as Elaine’s mother, Margaret Barrish; Ciaran Hinds (Rome, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) as Bud Hammond, ex-husband and former President; James Wolk (Shameless) as Douglas Hammond, son, good twin and Chief of Staff; Sebastian Stan (Gossip Girl) as Thomas “T.J.” Hammond, son, bad twin and openly gay former first son; Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) as Paul Garcetti, current President and former political rival.

About Entertainment Phile

Do what I love and give back. Those are the main ideologies for this site. I get to post topics near and dear to me and have a place to share it with others. I’ve been an entertainment junkie since I was born. There are so many outlets out there that provides entertainment news but the content was never enough to satisfy my appetite for more in-depth coverage. Spurned on by curiosity and motivated to find the answers, I’ve logged many hours looking for the latest updates on everything entertainment related. As a recipient of all this new found information, I hope this will be a resource for news about movies, TV shows, books and all things entertainment.
