The Hollywood Reporter  (see more here)  listed some of the “geek memorabillia” available for auction at this year’s Comic-Con.

Authentic movie props don’t come cheap but for a die-hard fan, what’s a few tens of thousands of dollars.

Original Chewbacca head from Star Wars has an estimated sale price between $60,000 – $80,000.

Ferris Bueller’s leather Jacket from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) has an estimated sale price between $20,000 – $30,000.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard’s command chair from Star Trek: Next Generation movies has an estimated sale price between $20,000 – $30,000.

The Everlasting Gobstopper from the 1971 Willa Wonka and the Chocolate Factory has an estimated sale price between $20,000 – $30,000.

A Borg costume from Star Trek: Next Generation has an estimated sale price between $8,000 – $12,000.
