New Role for Glee Badboy, Grant Gustin

Glee’s Grant Gustin who plays slushie throwing, favorite badboy, Sabastian Smythe, was recently cast as the lead in the New York-set indie Affluenza.

Here’s a description of the movie according to The Hollywood Reporter (read the full article here):

a modern-day take on The Great Gatsby, the film centers on Todd Goodman (Gustin), a preppy alpha male jock who hails from a wealthy family. A turn of events during the financial crisis of 2008 forces him to face life in the real world.

Production of Affluenza begins next week in New York City and Great Neck, NY.
